About Me

Hello! I’m Kaylan, a product designer and cat lover based in New York. 😸 I enjoy problem solving and creating meaningful experiences that empower users and leave a lasting impact within their space. I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley (Go Bears!) where my love of human-centered design was ignited. I’m passionate about designing for social impact, which influences my approach to UX design and drives my desire to create empathetic, sustainable solutions for the user.

Currently, I’m a product designer at HealthJoy where I’m solving problems in the healthcare and healthcare benefits space, with a focus on our member-facing experience. Before that, I was a product designer at BookNook where I was re-thinking the online learning experience to provide equitable and engaging high dosage tutoring to students across the country.
